quickbooks error 1603 update

Sometimes when updating QuickBooks users get an error code 1603.Generally, it happens because of installation error.

• Error status 1603: The update installer has encountered an internal error.

And the error msg is:

• Install error 1603: there was a problem installing Microsoft .NET Framework.

Symptoms:

• A file is locked.
• The Microsoft NET 1.1 SP1 installer itself is not installed correctly.
